Seeking Volunteers

The Daniel Kayde Blackman Legacy Foundation, Inc. is seeking dedicated volunteers to serve in the positions listed below. These are unpaid volunteer positions that provide an opportunity to serve youth, veterans, families, and rural communities.

Career, Résumé, and Interview Coaches

Help participants explore career opportunities, develop professional résumés, strengthen job-search skills, and prepare for interviews.

Financial-Literacy and Entrepreneurship Instructors:

Teach practical skills in budgeting, saving, credit, responsible financial decision-making, business planning, and entrepreneurship.

Grief-Support Facilitators

Provide compassionate, structured grief-support activities and referrals within the limits of their training, professional credentials, and Foundation policies.

STEM, Robotics, and Technology Instructors:

Lead engaging educational activities that build participants’ skills and confidence in science, technology, engineering, robotics, and mathematics.

Tutors and Scholarship Application Assistants:

Provide academic support and help students identify scholarships, complete applications, prepare essays, and meet submission requirements.

Veterans Resource Navigators and Peer-Support Volunteers:

Help veterans and their families locate appropriate benefits, employment, housing, wellness, and community resources while providing respectful peer support.

Youth Mentors and Leadership Coaches:

Guide and encourage young people through positive mentorship, leadership development, goal setting, and responsible decision-making.
