Native Seed Stewardship

Participants will learn how native plants strengthen forests, protect watersheds, support wildlife and pollinators, sustain grazing lands, and help landscapes recover after wildfire.

Hands-on activities will include native plant identification, responsible seed collection, seed cleaning and testing, proper labeling and storage, and maintaining accurate collection records. Participants will also learn why locally adapted seeds are essential to successful restoration and long-term land resilience.
