Daniel’s Legacy Native Plant Nursery

The Daniel’s Legacy Native Plant Nursery will serve as a small demonstration greenhouse and learning center where native plants that are difficult to establish through direct seeding can be propagated and prepared for restoration projects.

The nursery may produce native grasses, wildflowers and pollinator plants, shrubs that support wildlife habitat, riparian species, and plants suitable for post-fire rehabilitation. Participants will gain hands-on experience in seed germination, plant care, nursery operations, and restoration planning while helping strengthen Arizona’s supply of locally appropriate native plants.

The nursery will honor Daniel’s legacy by growing plants that restore damaged lands while helping young people develop practical skills, responsibility, and a lasting commitment to conservation.
